GCADA to support regional Click It or Ticket Campaign for a fifth straight year

Ninety-five Greater Cincinnati Automobile Dealers Assn. (GCADA) member dealerships will partner with Hamilton County Safe Communities for a fifth consecutive year to launch the annual National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) “Click It or Ticket” Campaign.

GCADA members will support “Click It or Ticket” by displaying campaign banners in high-profile areas of their dealerships and the association has produced public service announcements for television stations that additionally will be shared through social media platforms throughout May.

CIOT officially launches with a news conference Monday, May 11 at Mercedes-Benz of Cincinnati in Montgomery.

Guests representing the dealership, Bethesda North Hospital, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles will present pertinent facts and statistics regarding local and statewide seatbelt use while reinforcing the importance of properly fastening seatbelts while traveling Greater Cincinnati roadways.

Representatives from as many as 10 local law enforcement jurisdictions will join the presentation to demonstate a coordinated law enforcement effort.
