GCADA member Kerry Chevrolet donates CPR manikins

Alexandria, Ky. – April 13, 2022 – Greater Cincinnati Automobile Dealers Assn. (GCADA) member Kerry Chevrolet donated four state-of-the-art CPR training manikins to the Alexandria, Ky., Fire District today to further the association’s ongoing public safety initiative to expand CPR / AED training throughout the tristate.

GCADA Executive Vice President Charlie Howard, Alexandria Ky. Fire District Lieutenant Dan Schmidt, Kentucky Automobile Dealers Assn. Chair Nancy Sparks, Alexandria Fire District Chief Jeff Pohlman, Kerry Automotive President / Executive Manager and GCADA Vice President Tim Sparks and Kerry Chevrolet General Manager Craig Simon participated in the presentation.  

Ninety-five GCADA member dealers created the CPR Manikin Donation Program in 2013 to provide civic, non-profit and public service organizations such as community centers, fire departments, hospitals, police departments, schools and similar organizations with training aids to help educate community members in lifesaving CPR / AED procedures for infants, children and adults.

With today’s donation, GCADA members have donated more than $42,500 in equipment to more than 45 Greater Cincinnati organizations that have helped train as many as 21,000 people. GCADA additionally promotes the annual CPR and AED Awareness Week in June through a public service announcement and social media campaign.
